Vermont Route 100 fall foliage drive

Vermont Route 100 runs about 216 miles up the length of the state along the eastern side of the Green Mountains, from the Massachusetts line to Newport, near the Canadian border. It passes through ski towns, river valleys, farms, and small villages, and is often called Vermont’s classic foliage road. The central and northern stretches, around Killington and Stowe, typically peak in the first week of October.
